In this day and age when everyone and their mother’s are making a comeback it was hardly a surprise when our beloved From Ashes Rise got back on stage. I was more interested if they’d record and release more stuff. Turns out that they will. The band started recording the songs at Audible Alchemy last weekend slated for a seven inch release on Southern Lord. This marks the first studio item since Nightmares that came out in 2003. And here’s not such a wild guess. If they are to release a full-length I’m calling a A389 Recordings release.

P.S. Southern Lord just signed ugly, brilliant cruststers Martyrdöd. Seems like the label is getting increasingly more down with nasty hardcore and crust of late.
